No deal for Williams

Mark Williams, the former Wimbledon and Stoke centre back has been released by Palace following a two week trial. Steve Kember was keen to bring Williams to Selhurst Park but there was insufficient money available to sign him.
Kember told the Club's official web site that he has to allow somebody to leave before he can bring anybody in. He was unable to sell anyone, so Williams had to be released.
