Berhalter joins Energie Cotbuss on free transfer

Palace's American defender Gregg Berhalter has joined German side Energie Cotbuss on a free transfer. Berhalter, who played in the world cup for the U.S.A. was told by Trevor Francis that he had no future at Selhurst Park, and this move marks the end of his long search for a new club.
