Sheff Utd v Crystal Palace

Last updated : 19 November 2010 By BBC Sport

Sheffield United midfielder Stephen Quinn could return to the squad after missing last weekend's game against Millwall for personal reasons.

Andy Reid, on loan from Sunderland, is expected to make his full home debut for the Blades.

MATCH PREVIEW

Both these struggling sides are hoping their recent results are a sign of things to come. Palace have moved off the bottom of the table with back-to-back victories, while Sheffield United's 1-0 success at Millwall last weekend ended a four-game winless run.

Now United will be looking to improve on their poor home record. They have lost their last two matches at Bramall Lane, where they have taken one point from the last six matches and won only twice this season.

Palace have had a miserable campaign but a win could take them out of the relegation zone and would be the first time the south London club has notched three wins in a row for almost two years.

A tight encounter is on the cards given these teams' similar form, not to mention United's results this term. All five of the Blades' wins have been 1-0, as have four of their eight defeats.
