Marco Reich has left Palace and signed for German second division side Offenbach.
Reich had been at Selhurst Park since the autumn of 2005, when he signed a permanent deal after impressing during a trial spell.
However, he never found any consistent form and had fallen down the first team pecking order after the arrival of Peter Taylor as manager.
This season the 29-year-old made just five starts, as well as two substitute appearances.
The German midfielder said of his move to promotion-chasing Offenbach: "I was very happy with the offer they made. After talks with coach Wolfgang Frank and other club representatives I am fully confident I have made the right step."
