Premier League Team of the Week - Round 11

Round 11 of Premier League fixtures has come and gone, and it was full of all the drama and excitement that we're used to seeing from England's top tier.

For some teams, it was a week to forget, but there were plenty of players who made sure that this latest round of fixtures will live long in the memory.

Here's 90min's team of the week for round 11.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Nick Pope (GK) - In the battle of the England goalkeepers, it was Pope who came out on top against Everton's Jordan Pickford, pulling off some incredible saves in front of the onlooking Gareth Southgate.

Serge Aurier (RB) - Aurier is unrecognisable from the inconsistent player who gave Tottenham fans nightmares just a few months ago. He was outstanding yet again to keep Arsenal neutralised in a big derby victory.

Joel Matip (CB) - A big headed goal and a clean sheet in a 4-0 win over Wolves, what more could Liverpool fans want from Matip?

Jannik Vestergaard (CB) - What a transformation Vestergaard has undergone this year. The towering Dane is now the composed, ball-playing, goal-scoring defender that Southampton always wanted him to be, and he was the star of the show in the 2-1 win over Brighton.

Patrick van Aanholt (LB) - Palace were electric going forward in their 5-1 win over West Brom, and Van Aanholt played a huge part in that. He showed some unreal pace to reach the ball and put in the cross for his side's third.

2. Midfielders

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (DM) - What a signing Hojbjerg has been for Spurs. Against Arsenal, he was literally everywhere, winning possession time and time again and doing the dirty work to perfection.

Mason Mount (CM) - Mount created seven chances in Chelsea's 3-1 win over Leeds. No Blues player has managed more in the last five years, which speaks volumes of his impact.

Bruno Fernandes (CM) - Few games have shown Fernandes' importance to Manchester United than the 3-1 win over West Ham. He came on at half-time with his side 1-0 down and lucky not to be down by double figures, and totally transformed the game. His eight chances created is the highest of any player in the league this year, and he only played 45 minutes.

3. Forwards

Mohamed Salah (RW) - Back at his dazzling best against Wolves, Salah bagged a goal and an assist, and he showed real selflessness to leave the ball for Sadio Mane to sweep home the fourth goal.

Christian Benteke (ST) - Do not adjust your screens. Benteke is really here. Despite his confidence being about as low as possible, the Belgian was fantastic on his first start of the season against West Brom, bagging two impressive goals.

Wilfried Zaha (LW) - Performances like Zaha's against West Brom are why fans get so excited about the Ivorian. He ended with two goals and a place in the nightmares of every West Brom defender.
