Iain Dowie hopes to add Stoke defender John Halls and Wolves midfielder Colin Cameron to his squad during the transfer window.
Halls is unsettled at Stoke and has indicated he will not sign a new contract when his current one expires at the end of the season.
The Potters are now ready to cash in on the 23-year-old, who has already attracted bids in the region of £150,000 from Southampton and Reading.
Palace are prepared to match those bids in their attempt to lure the right-back to Selhurst Park.
Several clubs are also interested in 33-year old Cameron, who becomes a free agent in the summer.
The Scottish international has been told he can leave Molineux during the transfer window should he find a new club.
Along with Palace, Championship clubs Leeds and Cardiff and SPL side Hearts are also interested in the player.
