Kalou is the older brother of current Chelsea player Salomon and he has been invited to join Palace for training as he looks to secure a move to England
He is out of contract in January from his club side Heerenveen in Holland.
"He is training with us and he will probably play a couple of reserve games," said Neil Warnock.
