Palace have completed the signing of non-league star Dave Martin from Dartford for a fee of £25,000.
The pacy winger had several trials with the Eagles and impressed boss Peter Taylor enough to secure a two-and-a-half-year deal at Selhurst Park.
The 21-year-old winger has jumped six divisions to the Championship from the Ryman League Division One South, but says he's ready for first team action.
"I know it's a big step up in class,” said Martin. “But I'm confident, and Peter's obviously got confidence in me - or else he wouldn't have brought me in.
"I need to work on my fitness, but I didn't feel out of place training with the other lads. They all made me feel very welcome."
