Dougie Freedman may be going to Leeds on loan after all, despite having earlier quashed the rumours linking him with the League One side.
Reports on the Croydon Advertiser website suggest Freedman has had a change of heart and will now be going to Elland Road until the end of the season.
The site quotes manager Neil Warnock as saying, "I think Dougie has agreed to join Leeds."
The 33-year-old striker revealed on Tuesday that he had turned down the chance to join Leeds, saying he wanted to keep playing for Palace for as long as possible.
"As long as I keep on playing football for Crystal Palace and get game time then any [other] team is a dead duck," Freedman told the BBC.
"I want play here. I want to finish my career here. When I stop getting game time for Crystal Palace then I'll consider my options but so far I'm happy to stay."
However, it now seems possible that the promise of regular first team football has lured Dougie away from Selhurst Park - at least for the rest of the season.
