"I am really pleased to be here," he said
"Things were going a bit stagnant at Palace and I have only been here a day and can see what a good club it is.
"Managers have their opinions and obviously the manager at Palace's opinion is not to play me.
"Football is about opinions so you have to get on with it.
"Reports I have heard tell me Forest is a good passing side with a lot of young talent and maybe the position in the league is a bit false.
"I am looking forward to trying my best for Forest now and helping them out."
He goes into the squad to face QPR tomorrow.
