Carl Fletcher fired Palace boss Neil Warnock a reminder last night as he bagged his first international goal.
Fletcher can't get in the Palace first team at the moment, but started for Wales in their home game against Norway and scored after only 15 minutes. The home side went on to win the match 3-0.
But while international football may be going well for the Eagles midfielder, he has not played a match under Warnock since the F.A. Cup defeat to Watford at the start of January.
The 27-year-old has said he wants to fight for his place in the side, but Warnock has recently indicated he is more likely to be sent out on loan.
"I understand that Carl wants to play football," Warnock said. "I can always loan Carl out for some games but he isn't in any rush."
Fletcher is not expected to feature in tomorrow night's match at Charlton, and with the loan window reopening tomorrow (Friday) he may soon be playing his football away from Selhurst Park.
