Palace boss Iain Dowie believes Andrew Johnson may be out of the side for several weeks after the striker was injured at the weekend.
AJ had to come off after an hour of the 0-0 draw against Sheffield Wednesday and may now miss a crucial run of matches for the Eagles.
Dowie said: "He's got a laceration, a very serious gash, on his thigh. We'll see how it goes but it is not a pretty-looking injury."
