Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns has revealed he is working hard in an attempt to return from his medial knee ligament injury. The 27-year-old picked up the injury in a challenge with Cardiff keeper Tom Heaton and was expected to be out for around eight weeks. He told Palace Player: "It wasn't the best news but its one of them, it happens in football so I'm keeping my head up now and trying to get back quicker than anticipated. "I could be running in two weeks, straight line running. From there it's about strengthening and getting the confidence to twist and turn on the knee. "Hopefully, I will be back quicker than the eight weeks as was said."
