Crystal Palace have the chance to bounce back from the disappointment of their FA Cup semi-final defeat with a Premier League trip to Newcastle on Wednesday evening.
Patrick Vieira's side had the tie taken away from them by Chelsea in the space of 11 second half minutes as Mason Mount doubled the lead the former Palace loanee, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, earned the Blues a place in the final.
Here's the lineup Vieira may deploy.
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
Vicente Guaita (GK) - Overlooked for the semi-final as Vieira maintained his cup loyalties to Jack Butland, the Spaniard is expected to make a swift return between the sticks.
Nathaniel Clyne (RB) - After just 91 minutes of action in the previous 57 hours of Premier League football Palace had contested, Clyne has started the club's last seven top-flight matches on the spin.
Joachim Anderson (CB) - There may not be a night between Sunday and Wednesday when the gut-wrenching sight of the ball ruffling the roof of Chelsea's net doesn't permeate the dreams of Palace's wasteful semi-final centre-back. If he can sleep at all that is.
Marc Guehi (CB) - Of the 37 matches Crystal Palace have played this season, Guehi has missed just one - which just so happened to be the club's joint-heaviest defeat of the campaign.
Tyrick Mitchell (LB) - The newly minted England international hasn't missed a Premier League match since April 2021.
2. Midfielders
Cheikhou Kouyate (CM) - Shifted into the backline in a bid to mirror Chelsea's three-man defensive system on Sunday, Kouyate could well be brought back into midfield for the trip up north.
Jeffrey Schlupp (CM) - The intriguing and impressive career of the Premier League winner is predicated on an unusual skill set for a midfielder; so unorthodox, in fact, that the dribbling tackler most closely resembles - statistically at least - Newcastle's Joelinton, who was a striker until November (per FBref).
Conor Gallagher (AM) - Having been denied the chance to appear in an FA Cup semi-final against his parent club, Gallagher will surely be given the opportunity to expend the energy he saved while watching the tie.
3. Forwards

Jordan Ayew (RW) - The infamously goal-shy forward has scored on half of his visits to Newcastle's St. James' Park (two in four).
Jean-Philippe Mateta (ST) - Fortunately, the burly frontman doesn't have to play Chelsea every week, as Palace's London rivals are the only side to have stopped Mateta from taking a single shot in a game he's started this season - twice.
Wilfried Zaha (LW) - As he refines his game with each passing year, Zaha's dribbling has dipped of late; across the past two seasons, Palace's top scorer has beaten 127 Premier League opponents with the ball at his feet compared to 172 shimmies in the 2019/20 campaign alone (per FBref).
