Coventry v Palace – Team news preview

New signing Paul Ifill is expected to make his Palace debut at the Ricoh Arena tomorrow as Palace aim to continue the good form shown over the festive season.

The Eagles picked up eight points from a possible 12 over Christmas, but remain nine points adrift of the play-offs.

Ifill's arrival should give the team a further boost, but Peter Taylor will have to make do without striker Shefki Kuqi, who is expected to miss out after cracking a bone in his hand.

The defensive problems continue also, with Danny Butterfield and Danny Granville still on the sidelines.

Coventry are expected to welcome back Elliot Ward, brother of Palace defender Darren, after he missed their FA Cup match due to a tight hamstring.
