Beattie could stay longer

The former Celtic man made his debut for the Eagles at Portman Rd in the draw with Ipswich on Saturday and is set to keep his place for the visit of Charlton tomorrow.

"The manager seems very good - everyone I've spoken to who has worked with him say's he fantastic - and it's a big club," said Beattie.

"Initially it's a 32-day loan but anything is possible - it's up to me to produce."
