Palace reported back to the Beckenham training ground in July with no new faces amongst the squad. In the last two days however the Club is delighted to announce the following signings.
1) Palace have acquired the services of Andy Johnson from Birmingham City, as part of the deal which took Clinton Morrison in the opposite direction.
2) Palace have also concluded the signing of Portsmouth midfielder Shaun Derry for a fee in the region of £600,000. He will be available for selection in next Monday's friendly at home to Charlton Athletic.
We, at Crystal Palace Mad wish both players a long and successful career at Palace.
Finally, the Club announced that Dougie Freedman, yesterday, signed a new 4 year contract with Palace.
Finally, Finally. Trevor is looking at Dele Adebola in training this week. The big former Birmingham forward is out of contract and looking for a new club. He played for an hour of last night's match against Spurs, and Francis will make a decision after the weekend.
