Johnson holds up Morrison deal

Andy Johnson has been unable to agree terms with Palace over his proposed transfer from Birmingham. Johnson, who will be used as a makeweight in the Clinton Morrison deal, has been locked in talks with Simon Jordan and Trevor Francis over his personal terms. He is believed to want a substantial increase on his current salary in order to move south. Talks are ongoing and an anouncement is expected on Friday.
