Francis sues for unfair dismissal

Former Palace manager Trevor Francis has filed a claim for unfair dismissal at Croydon Law Courts following his sacking last April. Talks between Francis and the Club to arrive at a pay off figure have broken down, and Francis feels that the only way to resolve the dispute is to resort to the courts.
Francis was sacked following a run of poor results and the failure to provide Chairman Simon Jordan with an effective "Blueprint for the future".
